BNW Developments and Radisson Hotel Group have announced the launch of the first Radisson Blu Hotel and Radisson Blu Residences in RAK Central. The project was unveiled at a major event in Dubai, which drew a crowd of more than 8,000 people. Attendees were treated to performances by the British band Blue and Bollywood artists Armaan and Amaal Mallik.

The development is located in RAK Central, which is being positioned as the future business and lifestyle heart of Ras Al Khaimah. While Al Marjan Island remains a focus for tourism, RAK Central is designed as a mixed-use district that combines offices, homes and leisure facilities. BNW Developments, currently the largest private developer in the emirate with more than 10 active projects, is positioning this latest venture as a primary driver of regional economic growth.

The new Radisson Blu Hotel will offer 361 rooms. The building is designed to sit above a selection of retail shops and a cinema. Facilities for guests and visitors will include five restaurants and bars, a rooftop pool bar, a spa, a gym and meeting spaces. There will also be a Business Class lounge and a kids’ club to cater for both corporate and family travellers.

Next to the hotel, the Radisson Blu Residences will consist of 222 branded apartments. Owners of these homes will have access to services provided by the hotel, intended to provide a high standard of living supported by Radisson’s global operational experience.
