Dubai Retail, an operating arm of Dubai Holding Asset Management, has announced the launch of Skylight Mall, a super regional retail and leisure complex set to open in 2027.
The 1.3 million sq. ft. gross leasable area (GLA) facility will accommodate more than 360 individual retail, dining and entertainment outlets. The addition will expand the company’s regional operational footprint to 58 shopping malls and lifestyle destinations across Dubai.
Situated along Al Khail Road, the site offers direct transport links for nearby residential districts, including Jumeirah Village Triangle (JVT), Jumeirah Islands and The Springs, while catering to visitors from the wider urban area.
The complex will feature modern architectural elements designed to create an open interior environment. Interconnected walkways and open layouts will integrate retail units, food venues, entertainment areas and public social spaces into a single floor plan.
Company representatives stated that the scheme forms part of a strategy to align commercial property investments with local population growth and evolving consumer demand. The destination is intended to deliver an extensive selection of retail choices, essential services and leisure options.
Dubai Retail currently manages several major commercial destinations in the emirate. Its wider portfolio features established shopping centres including Palm Jumeirah Mall, Nad Al Sheba Mall, Ibn Battuta Mall, Dragon Mart and The Outlet Village.
The organisation also operates key waterfront and lifestyle districts across the city, including Bluewaters, JBR, Souk Madinat Jumeirah and Palm West Beach, alongside smaller neighbourhood retail hubs.
