Dubai developer Nakheel has appointed Parkway International Contracting LLC to build 617 homes across Phases 2 and 4 at Bay Grove Residences on Dubai Islands. The contract, valued at over AED 950 million, covers eight residential blocks alongside amenities and basement works. This brings total main construction commitments across the entire 1,154-home development to more than AED 1.75 billion.
Dubai Retail has unveiled plans for Skylight Mall, a super regional shopping destination scheduled to open in 2027 along Al Khail Road. Spanning 1.3 million sq. ft. of leasable area, the development will house over 360 stores, restaurants and leisure outlets. The project increases Dubai Retail's asset portfolio to 58 destinations, serving nearby residential communities including Jumeirah Village Triangle and Jumeirah Islands.
Dubai-based master developer Meraas has awarded GCC Contracting an AED 1 billion build contract for Phase 7 of Nad Al Sheba Gardens. The expansion will deliver 272 homes, including 130 luxury villas and 142 townhouses, alongside complete infrastructure works. Located ten minutes from Downtown Dubai, the project has already started construction on site and is expected to reach completion during the second quarter of 2028.
Nakheel has awarded an AED 800 million main construction contract to Metac General Contracting Co for Phases 1 and 3 of Bay Grove Residences on Dubai Islands. The package covers 537 homes across seven buildings, with completion targeted for late 2028. The development is part of the broader Dubai Islands master plan, which will feature 1,154 properties across 15 buildings upon completion.
Dubai Holding has awarded an AED 5 billion construction contract to China State Construction Engineering Corporation Middle East (CSCEC ME). Witnessed by Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the Group's largest contract to date finances the construction of its new group headquarters and Jumeirah Residences Emirates Towers. Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and SCDA Architects respectively, the developments will be completed in 2029 and 2030.
Meraas has awarded Parkway International Contracting a main construction contract valued at over AED 590 million for Phase 3 of City Walk Crestlane. The project will deliver 394 new apartments across four buildings in central Dubai. Groundwork and initial building works are currently underway on the site, with completion expected in the third quarter of 2028.
