Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) has announced the simultaneous opening of three new hotels in Shanghai’s rapidly developing Lingang area. The new properties, which comprise the Hyatt Regency Shanghai Lingang, Hyatt Place Shanghai Lingang Xinchen International Conference Center, and Hyatt Place Shanghai Lingang, form a comprehensive hospitality destination situated at the heart of the Lingang business district. This marks a new key offering for corporate, leisure, and extended-stay guests.
The complex is strategically located within the district’s central area, providing guests with convenient access to major local attractions. These include the Shanghai Astronomy Museum, Dishui Lake, Haichang Ocean Park, and the L+SNOW Indoor Skiing Theme Resort, all within walking distance. Direct access to Metro Line 16’s Dishui Lake Station also provides efficient connections to downtown Shanghai and surrounding areas.
Ms. Spring Li, Complex General Manager for the three hotels, commented on the debut, stating: “We are thrilled to introduce this unique hotel collective that represents a new era of hospitality in Lingang. Each hotel has been carefully designed to serve distinct guest needs while complementing one another, creating a destination for every purpose. Whether travelling for business, leisure, or an extended stay, our art-inspired accommodations, diverse dining venues and premium event facilities are thoughtfully designed to deliver comfort, inspiration, and memorable experiences—all set against the stunning backdrop of Dishui Lake.”
The design of the hotels shares a common theme of “artistic exploration.” All properties feature curated collections of sculptures, paintings, and installations that reflect the region’s coastal and maritime culture.
The flagship property, Hyatt Regency Shanghai Lingang, features 305 art-inspired guestrooms, many with expansive lake views. It offers special themed family rooms and select rooms with exclusive views of weekend and holiday fireworks displays. The hotel includes six dining options, accommodates pets, and boasts 52,743 square feet (4,900 square meters) of event space. It also provides a 24-hour fitness centre and a dedicated two-storey kids’ club.
Hyatt Place Shanghai Lingang Xinchen International Convention Center is connected to the Hyatt Regency via an indoor sky bridge and offers 364 contemporary rooms. It provides versatile event spaces and family-friendly rooms, focusing on supporting productive stays for business travellers.
Completing the trio is the Hyatt Place Shanghai Lingang, with 128 rooms designed for longer stays. These accommodations feature kitchenettes, refrigerators, and washer-dryers to provide home-like conveniences for extended-stay guests and families.
To celebrate the openings, World of Hyatt members can earn an extra 500 Bonus Points for qualifying nights at all three hotels for stays from now until February 28, 2026. This is part of the World of Hyatt’s new hotel member offer, which requires no registration and can be combined with other offers.
