Neural Earth has launched a new decision intelligence platform named Prometheus, which is designed to overhaul property risk assessment processes within the commercial real estate and insurance sectors. Announced in Miami on 9 June 2026, the technology targets property and casualty insurers, reinsurers and real estate investors managing the combined pressures of severe climate hazards and rapid shifts in capital markets. The software aims to process complex environmental and physical data into actionable operational insights within a few seconds, moving away from slow, manual review processes.

Annual insured losses from natural disasters in the US now consistently surpass $100 billion, with frequent wildfires, flooding and severe convective storms changing traditional risk landscapes. This escalation has led to reduced insurance availability and abrupt adjustments to capital pricing. Despite these shifts, many firms continue to rely on legacy administrative systems, including disconnected spreadsheets and fragmented software tools that require manual data reconciliation across separate divisions.

Operating as a centralised decision system, the platform links varied data pools including space-based imagery, environmental sensors, asset infrastructure records and existing insurance policies to identify overlapping data points. A built-in AI assistant called GAIA allows non-technical personnel to query complex geospatial and financial data. For underwriters, this translates into granular risk monitoring at the property level, while real estate investment managers can scan entire geographic markets to evaluate property fits prior to committing capital.

The tool incorporates a broad catalog of spatial imagery, environmental sensor networks and proprietary industry models to generate a unified risk profile. Specific capabilities include a property search function called Asset Finder, continuous exposure concentration monitoring and structure-specific catastrophe hazard scoring for climate perils such as wind, wildfire and floods.
