Hassan Allam Utilities has signed a tripartite agreement with the Alexandria Port Authority and Al Tarek Capital Real Estate Asset Management to assess the development and operation of an integrated regional and international logistics, re-export and distribution hub. The proposed project will be situated at Dekheila Port in Egypt.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Lieutenant General Kamel Al-Wazir, the Egyptian Minister of Transportation. The signatories included Amr Allam, Co-CEO of Hassan Allam Holding and Chairman of Hassan Allam Utilities; Rear Admiral Ehab Salah, Chairman of the Alexandria Port Authority; and Mohamed Tarek, Chairman of Al Tarek Capital Real Estate Asset Management.
The signing ceremony was also attended by Hassan Allam, Chairman and CEO of Hassan Allam Holding, alongside Karim Hefzy, Chief Operating Officer of Hassan Allam Utilities and CEO of CACC Cargolinx.
Covering an area of approximately 273,000 square metres, the proposed hub will consolidate storage, re-export, distribution and value-added logistics services together with light-industrial activities. The project aims to boost supply-chain efficiency while connecting local and international businesses with regional markets.
Situated within the western hinterland of Dekheila Port, the development is designed to strengthen links between existing port infrastructure and industrial operations. The initiative forms part of a wider effort to reinforce the location as a key trade and transport centre in the Eastern Mediterranean.
The deal marks an expansion of Hassan Allam Utilities’ investment portfolio in transport and logistics, supporting infrastructure growth and international trade across the region.
