A consortium led by Banque Misr has secured an additional EGP 4 billion syndicated loan for Ora Developers Egypt. The deal raises the total financing for the flagship Zed Sheikh Zayed project in West Cairo to EGP 9 billion, helping to fund remaining construction costs across the 165-acre urban development.
Dubai based developer Majid Al Futtaim has signed a deal with master developer MIDAR to build a $3.1 billion mixed-use community in New Cairo. Spanning 553 feddans within Mada City, the phased project marks the firm's first foray into Egypt's residential property sector. The plan includes 6,000 homes alongside commercial districts, leisure spaces and a shopping hub.
The Egyptian Kuwaiti Real Estate Development Company and Hassan Allam Holding subsidiary Grova West have partnered to build a mixed-use project in West Cairo. Spanning 295 acres in Sheikh Zayed City, the venture represents an investment expected to exceed EGP 250 billion. The development will feature a blend of residential apartments, villas, commercial spaces and medical facilities managed entirely by Grova West.
Modon Holding has partnered with Montage Hotels & Resorts to launch a luxury resort and residential development on Egypt's Mediterranean coast. The project will feature 200 rooms alongside 96 exclusive branded villas for purchase within the Wadi Yemm precinct. Serving as part of the USD 35 billion Ras El Hekma mega project, the development introduces high-end international hospitality to the region.
K Developments has launched Palencia Plaza in Al Shorouk City with an EGP 1.5 billion investment. The mixed-use project offers commercial, medical, and administrative units in a prime location opposite Carrefour. Designed by YBA, the development features modern facilities and flexible payment plans to meet growing demand in Egypt’s new cities.
Talaat Moustafa Group has unveiled "The Spine," a landmark cognitive city project in Egypt. Launched alongside Prime Minister Dr Mostafa Madbouly, the EGP 1.4 trillion development integrates artificial intelligence with urban living. The project aims to contribute 1 per cent to Egypt’s GDP and create 155,000 jobs. It features a Special Investment Zone designed to attract global corporations through digital infrastructure and simplified regulations.
