The Greenville Arena District has selected Turner to manage the $182 million Bon Secours Wellness Arena Master Plan. The project will modernise the downtown arena, build a 6,500-seat amphitheatre and extend the entertainment district. Funded by existing venue revenues and hospitality taxes rather than tax increases, the project will focus heavily on creating employment opportunities for local small businesses and workers.
Arctos Sports has joined forces with RVX Ventures and Magellan Development Group to form a national sports-anchored real estate platform. The venture will focus on building large-scale entertainment districts near major stadiums. Their maiden project is the Neyland Entertainment District in Tennessee. The mixed-use site will feature a 24-story hotel, retail space and luxury residential properties on the waterfront.
The Egyptian Kuwaiti Real Estate Development Company and Hassan Allam Holding subsidiary Grova West have partnered to build a mixed-use project in West Cairo. Spanning 295 acres in Sheikh Zayed City, the venture represents an investment expected to exceed EGP 250 billion. The development will feature a blend of residential apartments, villas, commercial spaces and medical facilities managed entirely by Grova West.
Abu Dhabi has announced a 1.7 billion US dollar investment to build the world's second Sphere entertainment venue on Yas Island. Harris County has approved the 83-acre Toro District in Bridgeland. This public-private partnership with the Houston Texans and Howard Hughes Communities includes a 22-acre team headquarters and training facility. The project features $150 million in infrastructure funding and aims to generate $34 billion in economic impact. Moving from NRG Stadium, the Texans seek a world-class environment for operations while providing new jobs and community resources for the growing northwest Houston corridor.
Hard Rock International has unveiled plans for an $850 million hotel, casino and residential complex in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Slated to open in 2029, the project features 415 rooms and 186 branded residences. The development aims to combine luxury hospitality with the island's vibrant music culture, offering a recording studio and event spaces. Construction will begin in mid-2026, creating over 3,500 total jobs for the local economy.
