Roadside Real Estate is set to acquire Gardner Retail for approximately £17.8 million, marking a major strategic move into the petrol forecourt sector. The deal involves six high quality sites in Southwest England that generated £33.9 million in revenue last year. Roadside will fund the acquisition by expanding its existing debt facility with Tarncourt Properties. This transaction is expected to be immediately earnings accretive and serves as a foundation for further consolidation in the roadside retail market. The company has already paid a multi million pound deposit with completion scheduled for early 2026.
Indian state owned developer NBCC has entered the Dubai real estate market through a new subsidiary, marking its first major international project. The company has purchased land in Dubai Mainland for AED 16 million to build a ten storey mixed-use tower. This project is expected to bring in up to AED 60 million in revenue. The move builds on NBCC’s previous work in the region and its successful track record of delivering thousands of homes in India.
Supermarket Income REIT has expanded its UK portfolio by acquiring three well-established grocery sites in Aylesbury, Sale and Frimley for a total of £97.6 million. DRI has confirmed the completion of its 126 MWp Văcărești solar park in Romania, marking its fourth major renewable energy project in the country. This latest development pushes the company’s total operational capacity in Romania to nearly 300 MWp within just three years. The facility is expected to generate enough clean electricity to power roughly 50,000 homes while cutting carbon emissions by more than 48,000 tonnes annually.
Blox Ventures has completed the acquisition of a prominent city block in Downtown Redwood City for $46 million. The 200,000 square foot mixed-use property was purchased from DWS Asset Management and includes a variety of retail, office and entertainment spaces. Key tenants at the site include Century Theatre, UCSF Health and several popular eateries. This deal adds to the substantial portfolio of Blox Ventures which has managed over $3 billion in real estate since its founding in 2015.
Mah Sing Group Berhad and KLK Land have confirmed a major joint venture to develop a new industrial hub in Johor, Malaysia. The partners will transform 419.15 acres of freehold land in Kulai into the MS Industrial Park @ Kulai, a project with an estimated gross development value of RM2.26 billion. Mah Sing will hold a 60% stake in the venture and lead the development, while KLK Land retains 40%.
