Scandic Hotels has expanded its presence in Germany after partnering with real estate manager IREMIS to open a new site in Freiburg. IREMIS purchased the property from its previous owner, while Scandic signed a long-term lease. Set to open in autumn 2027 following extensive refurbishment work, the 219-room hotel will feature flexible meeting spaces, dining areas and wellness facilities situated directly opposite Freiburg's main railway station.
