PGIM Real Estate and Northstar Capital have acquired 51 Tuas View Link in Singapore for a major logistics redevelopment. The partnership will replace existing warehouses with a 1.1 million square foot, five-storey facility designed for sustainability. Located near the Tuas Mega Port, the project targets the city's supply-constrained industrial market. This investment follows PGIM’s US$3 billion transaction year in 2025 and focuses on creating long-term value through modern, ramp-up infrastructure.
Egis has been named the project management consultant for the final stage of Phase 1 at Kuwait's Mubarak Al-Kabeer Port. The firm will supervise marine and onshore works to ensure the site on Boubyan Island becomes fully operational. MAIR Group has agreed a multi-million-dirham deal to acquire the KEZAD Logistics Park - KLP Free Zone 3 in Abu Dhabi. The AED 295 million transaction, completed through subsidiary Makani Real Estate, includes 50 years of land lease rights under a Musataha arrangement. Spanning nearly 130,000 square metres of land, the facility provides high-spec warehouse space with direct access to Khalifa Port.
GARBE Industrial and Fortress Real Estate Investments have launched a joint venture to build a 61,000 square metre logistics centre in Bucharest. The project, GARBE Park Bucharest, marks the German developer's first entry into the Romanian market. Located on an 11-hectare plot near the new A0 ring road, the facility is designed for high-tech, automated operations with a 12-metre clear height. Construction is scheduled for late summer 2026, targeting a 2027 opening.
Lithuanian developer Darnu Group has announced plans to invest EUR 80 million into real estate projects throughout 2026, marking an 84 per cent rise in funding compared to the previous year. Ahold Delhaize USA has secured a $475 million investment from Blackstone Credit & Insurance to develop a new, highly automated distribution centre in Burlington, North Carolina. This strategic partnership utilizes a triple net lease structure, where Blackstone funds the total construction costs and retains ownership of the site while the retail giant manages operations. The project is designed to enhance the supply chain for the Food Lion brand, creating over 500 jobs and integrating advanced technology to streamline grocery delivery across the region.
