BNW Developments has entered a major strategic partnership with China Railway No. 4 Engineering Group Co. Ltd. (CREC4) to accelerate its construction projects in Ras Al Khaimah. The collaboration is valued at approximately AED 1 billion and aims to utilize the engineering expertise of the Fortune 500 subsidiary to deliver high-end waterfront destinations. This move follows the completion of initial site works on several BNW projects and marks a shift into a high-speed execution phase for the developer.
Diriyah Company has finalised a major joint development deal with Midad Development and Real Estate Investment Company to create the Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Diriyah. The project is valued at $827 million and will be located within the vast "City of Earth" masterplan in Saudi Arabia. This development includes a 159-room luxury hotel and high-end private residences covering over 235,000 square metres.
MIDAR for Investment and Urban Development has signed a multi-billion pound agreement to establish the first social sports club in the third phase of Mostakbal City. Occupying 42 feddans, the EGP 3 billion project is being developed in collaboration with Alexandria Sporting Club’s investment arm. The facility will offer world-class sports courts, fitness centres and social areas, with the first phase set to open in early 2027.
Umm Al Qura for Development and Construction Company has entered into a new partnership to further the growth of the Masar Destination in Makkah. The firm signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with BIM Capital and Ajbal Real Estate Development Company to create a private real estate fund. With a target capital of 221,000,000 Saudi Riyals, the venture focuses on the construction of new hotel units. This move aligns with the company strategy of using joint ventures to deliver large-scale urban projects.
The Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) has unveiled Package 3 of its massive road development programme. This latest phase involves six major projects with a budget exceeding SAR 8 billion. Aimed at modernising the capital's transport network, the initiative aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 to turn Riyadh into a global logistics and mobility hub. Construction is expected to take between three and four years.
AirTrunk has secured a new site in Melbourne's north-west for a massive 354MW hyperscale data centre campus. The A$5 billion MEL2 project will take the company's total Victorian investment to A$7 billion and support Australia's recently launched National AI Plan. It is estimated that the development will create 4,000 construction jobs and over 200 permanent roles.
