Hilton and Higuerón Developments have announced the signing of the Waldorf Astoria Marbella, set to open in Spain’s Malaga Province in 2029. The resort will feature 120 guest rooms and 120 Waldorf Astoria branded residences, offering luxury accommodations with views of the Mediterranean. Amenities will include a 750 square metre spa, indoor and outdoor pools, a gym and multiple dining venues, including the brand’s iconic Peacock Alley.
Hilton has announced the signing of the Waldorf Astoria Scarlet Bay in the Peloponnese, marking the iconic luxury brand’s first venture in Greece. The development signals a significant milestone in Hilton’s rapid expansion across Greece, a world-class destination where the company now manages over 60 hotels trading and in the pipeline.
Hilton has announced plans to double its presence in Oman with the signing of three new hotels at Muscat’s Barr Al Jissah, including the Sultanate’s first Waldorf Astoria. Opening in January 2026, the Waldorf Astoria Muscat Al Husn, Hilton Muscat Al Bandar, and DoubleTree by Hilton Muscat Al Waha will introduce 680 new rooms, 15 dining venues, and extensive leisure facilities to Oman’s tourism landscape.
