Vonovia has introduced a dedicated B2B brand, Veveus, during the EXPO REAL 2026 trade fair to deliver end-to-end real estate management services to institutional investors and property owners.
The new unit brings together investment management, asset management, property management and facility management within a single platform. While the core Vonovia brand remains dedicated to residential lettings, Veveus is tailored specifically to professional real estate clients across the complete building life cycle.
The German housing group already oversees roughly 75,000 apartments for third-party clients, backed by more than a century of industry experience. Bringing these capabilities under the Veveus brand forms part of a wider strategy to broaden operations beyond traditional rental activities.
Financial performance in the company’s Value-Add division has shown steady progress prior to the launch. Vonovia recorded 79.2 million euros in external revenue from the segment during the first half of 2026, representing a 13.8 per cent rise compared to the same period in 2025.
By grouping these operational capabilities under one unified market identity, the firm aims to eliminate unnecessary operational steps and simplify client management. The move supports Vonovia’s strategic target to increase non-rental operations to between 20 and 25 per cent of Adjusted EBITDA Total by 2028, with the Value-Add segment expected to contribute 9 to 12 per cent.
“With homes for approximately 1 million people, we possess comprehensive expertise across the real estate value chain. With Veveus, we will make this experience, established processes, and economies of scale available to institutional owners and investors in the future. In this way, we are laying the foundation for long-term growth beyond the traditional rental business,” says Luka Mucic, CEO of Vonovia.
“With Veveus, we offer all real estate management expertise from a single source. Until now, these services were often spread across many different providers in the market. Our customers benefit from clear lines of responsibility, local implementation expertise, and the efficiency gains of an integrated value chain,” says Olaf Weber, Head of B2B Go-to-Market at Vonovia.
