7X, the UAE-based trade, transport and logistics holding group, has officially introduced its new National Network for Logistics (NXN) during the opening of the 28th Universal Postal Congress in Dubai. The global event, hosted by the UAE in collaboration with the Universal Postal Union (UPU), provided the platform for the announcement.
The NXN has been designed as a new benchmark for postal, parcel, and logistics services, connecting both local and international providers through a combined physical and digital framework. The network will allow individuals, companies, and e-commerce platforms to send, receive, store, and fulfil shipments through a unified system.
The initiative aligns with 7X’s wider strategy of supporting digital solutions in logistics while advancing the UAE’s role as an international trade hub. It also reflects national priorities including We the UAE 2031 and the Zero Bureaucracy programme, which aim to streamline services and enhance digital transformation.
The first branch of NXN was inaugurated in Dubai in the presence of Badr Al-Olama, Chairman of 7X; Tariq Al Wahedi, Group CEO of 7X; Abdulaziz Alhammadi, General Manager of NXN; along with representatives from partner organisations.
When fully established, NXN will include more than 87 branches across the country, supported by over 1,000 pick-up and drop-off points and a nationwide network of smart lockers. Same-day and next-day delivery options will be offered alongside flexible collection arrangements, all operating within a single service standard.
NXN also introduces dark-store and fulfilment solutions intended to strengthen e-commerce and SME operations. The project will be operated through Waslah, 7X’s logistics platform aggregator, and will integrate with WAYN, the UAE’s digital P.O. Box, to provide accurate addressing and secure delivery.
Tariq Al Wahedi, Group CEO of 7X, commented: “Our goal is to create an open network that transforms logistics from a fragmented and expensive system to a unified, global ecosystem. NXN is the practical embodiment of this vision, it is a national platform, with quick market access and seamless integration between providers and customers offering lower costs and convenient accessibility through all its digital touchpoints and physical locations. NXN helps to reinforce the UAE’s leading position as a global logistics hub by making services easy and reliable.”
Partnerships with leading logistics companies including DHL, Aramex, and FedEx form part of the network, alongside 7X subsidiaries EMX and FINTX. These collaborations are expected to extend service reach, lower costs, and improve access for businesses using NXN facilities.
Abdulaziz Alhammadi, General Manager of NXN, said: “NXN’s launch is a strategic step towards establishing an integrated national network that will transform the UAE’s retail and logistics services.
The platform is designed around four interconnected pillars: the ‘Send’ pillar, which provides local and global shipping solutions through a wide network of postal and express delivery providers; the ‘Receive’ pillar, which ensures a flexible pick-up experience encompassing home delivery, smart lockers, returns management and mailbox services; and the ‘Store’ pillar, offering storage solutions through smart lockers, dark stores and specialised fulfilment centres to support e-commerce; and lastly the ‘Enable’ pillar, which puts SMEs at the core of our strategy, empowering them with the capabilities that were only available to larger enterprises.”
He added: “NXN is more than just a logistics network; it is a unified national platform that empowers individuals, entrepreneurs and businesses to access new avenues for global trade from the UAE. By integrating the Waslah and WAYN platforms, we translate the nation’s vision for digital transformation and zero bureaucracy into tangible reality, further driving the UAE’s momentum towards a more efficient, innovative and competitive future.”
According to 7X, NXN represents its ongoing commitment to expanding digital infrastructure, supporting government transformation strategies, and strengthening the UAE’s logistics sector with new standards for service and reliability.
