Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) has announced it has surpassed 210 hotel signings and openings in 2025, marking another strong year of global expansion across Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA), and Asia Pacific (APAC). Building on a record-breaking 2024, the Group continues to advance its strategic transformation into one of the world’s leading hotel companies, supported by a diverse portfolio that reflects the evolving needs of modern travellers.
“Elie Younes, Executive Vice President and Global Chief Development Officer at Radisson Hotel Group, said: “The year so far has seen Radisson Hotel Group succeeding in our pursuit of excellence for customers and owners. Hotel openings have been carefully curated to what business and leisure travellers are seeking in 2025, and we have a very strong pipeline of hotel signings and anticipated openings.”
In the EMEA region, Radisson Blu remains at the forefront of the upper-upscale hotel segment, with key signings and openings in France, Germany, Türkiye, and Montenegro. Among the highlights is The Medlock at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium, which redefines the concept of a stadium hotel, and the forthcoming Radisson Blu CDG Airport Terminal Hotel, Paris, set to open later this year.
France has continued to be a key growth driver for the Group, with Radisson Collection expanding its luxury footprint through the opening of Cour des Loges Lyon, A Radisson Collection Hotel, and the signing of Banke Opera Paris, A Radisson Collection Hotel, scheduled to open in 2026. The brand also celebrated its debut in Hungary with Radisson Collection Hotel, Basilica Budapest, while Radisson Collection Hotel, Berlin reopened to showcase its revitalised design and contemporary flair.
The Radisson RED brand continues its global rise, with new properties in the UK, Romania, India, the UAE, and Thailand. The opening of Radisson RED Oslo City Centre, A Verified Net Zero Hotel marked the Group’s second carbon-neutral property, underlining its leadership in sustainable hospitality. In London, a new partnership with PPHE Hotel Group will introduce the brand to the city centre near Liverpool Street Station, while art’otel Rome Piazza Sallustio has already opened as a striking design-led property under the same collaboration.
Radisson Individuals, launched in 2020, now includes more than 100 hotels in operation or development. The brand’s continued growth across Europe and Asia has been boosted by new signings in countries such as Portugal, Malta, Spain, and the Philippines. This year also saw the launch of Radisson Individuals Premier, Boutique, and Retreats, offering greater flexibility to owners and an expanded range of guest experiences.
Meanwhile, the Radisson brand itself continues to evolve, with openings in new markets including the Democratic Republic of Congo, Armenia, and Madinah, Saudi Arabia. The Radisson Hotel Manchester City Centre, A Verified Net Zero Hotel became the Group’s first property to achieve net zero certification, while in the UK, Radisson will anchor Oxford United Football Club’s new all-electric stadium project.
Radisson Hotel Group’s growth across APAC remains dynamic, particularly in China and India. In China, 130 hotels have been signed and opened in 2025, bringing the pipeline close to 300 properties. The Country Inn & Suites by Radisson brand has emerged as the fastest-growing in the country, now operating a portfolio of 375 hotels across key urban centres such as Beijing, Shanghai, and Chengdu.
India continues to be one of RHG’s strongest markets, with the Group surpassing 200 hotels nationwide. Of these, more than 130 are operational and over 70 remain under development. Having signed 59 new properties across 47 cities in just 18 months, the Group plans to expand its footprint to 500 hotels in India by 2030, strengthening its position as the country’s leading organically growing international operator.
The Group’s resort portfolio also continues to expand, now exceeding 160 properties worldwide. New additions include Radisson Hotel Cannes, Radisson Collection The National Hotel, Brussels, and Radisson Collection Resort, Galle in Sri Lanka. These are complemented by resorts across India, Indonesia, Montenegro, and Egypt, reinforcing RHG’s commitment to developing distinctive leisure destinations.
“As we look ahead, our goal is clear: delivering meaningful value to our owners, creating memorable experiences for our guests, and driving responsible growth that strengthens communities worldwide,” concludes Elie Younes.
