Marriott Bonvoy has expanded its global portfolio with the opening of Le Méridien Dehradun Resort & Spa in North India. The new property is located in the Doon Valley along the Nun River and serves as a primary entry point for popular hill destinations including Rishikesh and Mussoorie. The resort is situated 45 minutes from Jolly Grant Airport and 15 minutes from the local railway station.

The hotel features 103 guest rooms and suites which provide views of the surrounding hills or the riverfront. The design of the building draws inspiration from the mid century modern style and the architectural arches of the nearby Forest Research Institute. Natural tones and textures are used throughout the interior to reflect the local Uttarakhand landscape.

Dining options at the resort include Riviera Café, which serves a mix of international and regional dishes. Longitude functions as a coffee bar during the day before transitioning into a bar at night. Guests can also visit the poolside bar, Aqua Current, or participate in the brand’s gelato programme, Le Scoop. For wellness, the Explore Spa offers treatments like the Himalayan Hot Salt Poultice.

The property also contains 24,000 square feet of flexible space for events and weddings. Its Unlock Art programme provides guests with access to the museums and botanical collections at the Forest Research Institute.
