Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has introduced six new luxury experiences to its “Special Happens…” global series. The latest additions focus on four pillars: “After Dark”, “In the Wild”, “Around the Table” and “In the Spotlight.” These offerings are designed to provide guests with deeper connections to local communities through highly curated activities.

The new “In the Wild” collection features a private helicopter tour of the Great Wall of China from Fairmont Beijing. This package includes a two-night stay and a specialized dining experience. In Canada, Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge has launched an indigenous-led foraging flight. Guests travel by helicopter with an Indigenous Knowledge Keeper to gather wild botanicals before a chef-prepared dinner. Additionally, Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club now offers the Acacia Horizon Experience which provides private wildlife viewing from a secluded deck.

Claudia Kozma Kaplan, Chief Brand Officer, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts said, “Delivering remarkable experiences is fundamental to Fairmont Hotels & Resorts’ DNA. With these brand new ‘Special Happens…’ experiences, we’re not just continuing this legacy, we’re actively bringing the essence of Fairmont to life for everyone. This next chapter is about expanding unforgettable journeys, crafting authentic moments within each community, and designing them with meticulous care so our guests can connect more deeply, celebrate more often, and truly make special happen.”

The “After Dark” category has also expanded. Fairmont Tazi Palace Tangier will host a special evening for the solar eclipse on August 12th 2026. In China, Fairmont Wuhan provides a night tour of the Yellow Crane Tower where guests wear traditional Hanfu attire. Meanwhile, Fairmont St Andrews in Scotland has introduced a celestial overnight stay featuring a private observation dome and rare whiskies.

Other returning signature experiences include the “Spa Under the Stars” in Sonoma and wellness recovery therapies at Fairmont Mumbai. In the “Spotlight” and “Around the Table” categories, guests can still access the Claude Nobs Chalets in Montreux or participate in cultural village tours in Jaipur. Romantic offerings include a K-culture inspired proposal in Seoul and a traditional Hawaiian feast at Fairmont Kea Lani. These global initiatives aim to highlight the brand’s signature service through unique local narratives.
