A major redevelopment of 75 London Wall is set to begin in the City of London following the appointment of Multiplex as the main contractor. The £250 million contract was awarded by joint venture partners Gamuda Berhad and Castleforge this month. The project will transform the existing site into a £1.2 billion office scheme covering over 450,000sq ft.
Deyaar Development PJSC has officially started construction on DWTN Residences, a significant new high-rise project in Dubai. The developer held a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of the flagship tower. The building will provide 522 residential units including apartments, duplexes and penthouses. A unique Royal Palace will sit at the top of the structure. The project focuses on creating a vertical community with extensive amenities.
Dale Stigamier has formally taken over as the executive leader of LCK as the project management firm prepares for its next phase of expansion across the Southeast. The transition comes as Mickey Layden steps down from her role as Chief Executive Officer after leading the company for 32 years. MIDAR for Investment and Urban Development has signed a multi-billion pound agreement to establish the first social sports club in the third phase of Mostakbal City. Occupying 42 feddans, the EGP 3 billion project is being developed in collaboration with Alexandria Sporting Club’s investment arm. The facility will offer world-class sports courts, fitness centres and social areas, with the first phase set to open in early 2027.
Axis Real Estate Investment Trust has signed a RM34.6 million deal to acquire a new industrial facility in Senai, Johor. The property is a build-and-lease project that will be occupied by existing tenant FCI Connectors Malaysia Sdn Bhd upon its completion in 2027. Market analysts from BIMB Research expect the acquisition to contribute an estimated RM2.49 million in annual gross rental income.
Investment firms Gaw Capital Partners and GFH Partners have teamed up to create a dedicated industrial and logistics platform in the UAE. The majority-owned venture by Gaw Capital will target development projects in key industrial zones across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah. Manrre Developments is set to lead the project execution, drawing on over 40 years of local experience.
