The Anambra State Government is moving ahead with its ambitious low-cost housing initiative after resolving last-minute bureaucratic and contractual issues. The scheme aims to construct 10,000 affordable homes for civil servants and low-income households in the Isiagu area of Awka South Local Government. The project, which has been approved by Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, will be executed via a Public–Private Partnership (PPP) arrangement with real estate developers.
New Murabba, a Public Investment Fund company, and the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Washington, D.C., establishing a framework to explore collaboration in sustainable urban development. The agreement focuses on applying global sustainability frameworks like LEED across the New Murabba project. New Murabba has also joined the USGBC as a Platinum member, signalling a deep commitment to sustainability leadership in creating a new destination in Riyadh.
Watts Water Technologies Inc., a world leader in water solutions, has successfully purchased Saudi Cast. This strategic purchase was completed on December 1, 2025. It was financed using Watts’ existing cash reserves. Saudi Cast brings annualised sales of about $20 million to Watts. The acquired business will now operate within the APMEA regional segment. The move expands Watts’ operational reach in the Middle East.
Industrial property firm CTP and energy provider ČEZ ESCO have officially opened a major new 5.5 megawatt (MW) rooftop solar power installation in the South Moravian region of the Czech Republic. The combined project, located across CTPark Brno and CTPark Brno South, marks the largest of its type in the area. The facilities are expected to generate over 5.2 GWh of clean energy annually, which is enough to power around 1,500 average households.
InfraPartners, a leader in prefabricated AI data centre solutions, and JLL, a global real estate and investment management company, have formed a new strategic partnership. This collaboration is designed to accelerate the development and operation of AI data centres by solving the challenge of efficient project delivery post-site identification. The unified model combines InfraPartners’ prefabricated, upgradeable digital infrastructure with JLL’s expertise in site selection, project execution, financing, and facilities management.
