The newly completed Shanghai Grand Opera House has opened along the Huangpu River, combining world-class performance spaces with an accessible civic roofscape. Designed by Snøhetta in partnership with local and international experts, the 146,786-square-metre complex includes three distinct auditoriums and extensive public areas. The landmark aims to broaden cultural access while serving as an active waterfront destination for residents and visitors alike.
