Developers Archi and NEXT have officially launched the Swissôtel Kobuleti Beach Resort, a 300 million dollar premium hotel and residential project in Georgia. Situated on the Black Sea coast near Batumi, the three-building complex will feature a luxury hotel, private apartments, a casino and a 3,000 square metre wellness zone. The development aims to elevate regional tourism standards and boost local employment.

Hilton has announced plans to introduce its premium economy brand, Spark by Hilton, to Italy following an agreement with ELE Spa. The 118-room Spark by Hilton Milan Linate Airport is scheduled to open later this year, situated near the terminal. This property will be the eleventh Hilton brand to establish a presence or enter the development pipeline across Italy.
Frasers Hospitality has announced the soft opening of Capri by Fraser in George Town, Penang. Located at 31 Jalan Magazine near the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the 22-storey property marks the brand's debut in the region. The hotel features 248 rooms and residences, integrated heritage architecture and partnerships with local artists and food brands to establish a new social hub.
Hospitality leader Accor has launched a five year global eco-initiative to test and scale resource-saving technologies across its international network. The project targets the validation of over 100 environmental systems by 2030, beginning with an intense operational focus on commercial water efficiency. Partnering with non-profit Water Unite, the company will pilot advanced recycling and reuse systems across its portfolio.
