Asset World Corporation has revealed plans for two major projects along the Chao Phraya River, featuring an eco-friendly cross-river cable car and the new MONA Bangkok art museum. Developed alongside Australia’s Museum of Old and New Art, MONA Bangkok will form an unconventional cultural destination at Asiatique The Riverfront. The multi-billion baht initiative aims to enhance the city's sustainable tourism and creative offerings.
SURJ Sports Investment, a company owned by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, has launched a new joint venture called radia alongside Live Nation and Oak View Group. The initiative will manage, operate and commercialise multi-use sports and entertainment venues across the country. It aims to support Saudi Arabia’s growing sports sector, which is projected to exceed $22 billion in value by 2030.
Aldar has announced Yas Point, a new six billion dirham waterfront development on the northern shore of Abu Dhabi's Yas Island. The massive mixed-use masterplan spans 600,000 square metres and will feature 1,600 residences, a five-star resort hotel and an international school. The project focuses heavily on walkability, incorporating three public parks and a 700-metre shoreline promenade alongside the first northern beach on the island.
Manchester United has announced the location for its proposed 100,000-seater stadium, situated 350 metres from Old Trafford. The venue forms the centrepiece of the Trafford Wharfside masterplan, a 150-hectare regeneration project backed by Trafford Council and regional authorities. The project aims to create 48,000 jobs and 15,000 homes, delivering a projected £7.3 billion annual boost to the UK economy.
The Snøhetta-designed Shanghai Grand Opera House will officially open on October 17, 2026. Currently entering its final development phase, the venue has scheduled 82 performances across 47 productions for its inaugural season, which runs until February 20, 2027. The project features three specialist auditoriums and an accessible public roofscape.

The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and Sun Group have launched a 29,317 billion VND infrastructure and cultural project along the Saigon River. The 73.3-hectare Public-Private Partnership scheme will expand Nguyen Tat Thanh Street to ten lanes, construct new bridges and create the Ben Nha Rong - Khanh Hoi Cultural Park, transforming old port warehouses into community spaces.
