Sun PhuQuoc Airways has partnered with Pacific Air Agency to launch direct flights between South Korea and Phu Quoc. A daily service from Seoul starts on 17 April 2026, followed by a Busan route in June. The airline aims to capture a growing market that saw over 4.3 million Korean visitors to Vietnam in 2025. Passengers will benefit from significant discounts within the Sun Group ecosystem.
Sun Group and Changi Airports International have partnered to manage Phu Quoc International Airport, introducing Vietnam’s first "airport destination" model. The collaboration aims to elevate the site to 5-star international standards, featuring a new terminal and advanced smart technology. With a planned capacity of 24 million passengers annually, the project is designed to transform the airport into a hub for retail, dining and entertainment before APEC 2027.
Sun Group and Marriott International have signed a major agreement to develop 10 new hotels and resorts in Vietnam by 2030. SLP has officially broken ground on SLP Park Tien Du, a major ready-built factory development in Bac Ninh province. This project marks the eighth venture for the industrial developer in Vietnam. Situated within the Dai Dong Hoan Son Industrial Park, the facility will provide over 74,000 square metres of Grade-A space. The development is designed to meet growing demand for operational-ready infrastructure amongst global manufacturers.
UK-based Gresham House has acquired Asia Clean Capital Vietnam to expand its renewable energy footprint. The deal follows the integration of SUSI Partners into the firm’s energy transition division. ACCV Pte provides decarbonised power to manufacturers in Vietnam. The acquisition leverages rising electricity demand and supportive government policies to scale clean energy assets and support the national transition to green power.
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has launched its Unscripted by Hyatt brand on a global scale through a landmark agreement with Indochina Kajima. Six existing Wink hotels across Vietnam have joined the new portfolio, more than doubling Hyatt's footprint in the country from four to ten properties. These locations include major cities and emerging hubs such as Saigon, Danang, and Can Tho.
