Vingroup Corporation, representing an investor consortium, has officially started construction on the Northwest Bac Ninh City New Urban Area Project – Zone 1, commercially named Vinhomes King Park. The groundbreaking ceremony formed part of a broader programme of events celebrating the establishment of Bac Ninh City.

Situated in the northern part of Kinh Bac ward, the development spans almost 270 hectares. The site is bordered on two sides by the Cau River and surrounds the Hoa Long peninsula.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Dao Quang Khai, Vice Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People’s Committee, said: “The Northwest Bac Ninh City New Urban Area Project – Zone 1 is not just a simple urban development project, but also a project of significant importance in realising the goal of building Bac Ninh into a civilised, modern city with synchronous infrastructure, a high-quality living environment, worthy of the cultural and revolutionary traditions and the strong aspiration for progress of the Kinh Bac homeland.”

He added: “With the determination of the investor, the capabilities of the contractors, the cooperation of the departments, agencies, and localities, and the support of the people, the project will be implemented on schedule, ensuring quality and safety, and will soon form a modern, ecological, and integrated urban area, contributing to creating a new face for Bac Ninh city in the new development phase.”

The layout maintains a construction density under 20 per cent, allocating nearly 57 hectares to green areas and water features, alongside more than 70 hectares for a sports complex. Housing options will range from apartments to townhouses and villas, supported by schools, clinics, parks and commercial spaces.

The location connects directly to major routes, including the North-South Expressway 01, the Hanoi-Quang Ninh high-speed railway line, and transport links to Gia Binh International Airport.

Mr. Pham Thieu Hoa – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vinhomes Joint Stock Company, a member of Vingroup, representing the consortium of investors, stated: “We expect Vinhomes King Park to contribute a new urban nucleus in the northern part of Kinh Bac ward, supplementing housing and service infrastructure, creating high-quality public spaces, and contributing to expanding the urban landscape of Bac Ninh towards a modern, civilised, and sustainable direction, affirming the position and investment attractiveness of this land rich in cultural and historical traditions. In that spirit, we will mobilise strong resources in finance, technology, and implementation experience to bring the project to completion on schedule and with the required quality, while also focusing on preserving and promoting the value of the existing natural landscape.”

The project is Vingroup’s second major urban site in the area, following its earlier Vinhomes Bac Ninh scheme.
