Property giant Zillow has announced a creative partnership with Blizzard Entertainment to launch Zillow for Warcraft. This digital experience allows fans to browse virtual homes within the world of Azeroth using the same tools they use for real-life house hunting. The launch coincides with the introduction of player housing in World of Warcraft, a feature the gaming community has requested for nearly two decades.

The custom microsite features a curated selection of in-game properties, ranging from Stormwind townhouses to Horde-influenced bungalows. Zillow is utilising its 3D Home tours and SkyTour visuals to give players an immersive look at these digital designs. While the experience is purely for exploration and contains no real-world transactions or price estimates, it aims to celebrate the creativity of the game’s millions of players.

“Player housing is a milestone moment for the World of Warcraft community, and we wanted to honor it in a way that felt authentic and unexpected,” said Beverly W. Jackson, vice president of Brand and Product Marketing at Zillow. “Zillow exists at the center of how people think and talk about home, and gaming has become another powerful expression of that. This collaboration brings two worlds together, celebrating home as both a place to belong and a place to escape into something that feels honest and personal.”

The timing is set to build momentum for the upcoming Midnight expansion, which is scheduled for a global release on 2 March. As part of the promotion, players can also unlock unique in-game items such as a Zillow-branded doormat. Monica Austin, chief marketing officer of Blizzard Entertainment, praised the collaboration for its intuitive feel.

“Player housing has sparked an extraordinary wave of creativity in World of Warcraft, and the passion our community has poured into shaping their own spaces is nothing short of inspiring,” said Monica Austin. “Partnering with Zillow allowed us to take that excitement even further — creating an experience that feels playful, intuitive, and tailor‑made for our players. Together, we’ve built something that celebrates the unique ways players express themselves in Azeroth and the joy of finally carving out a place in the world they call home.”

The initiative is part of Zillow’s 2026 Someday Starts Today brand platform. This campaign focuses on helping people move from dreaming about a home to taking the first practical steps toward owning one. By applying this logic to the fantasy world of Azeroth, Zillow aims to connect with a wider culture of home seekers.
