AI construction platform Buildots has announced a new operational framework called construction intelligence, aiming to improve predictability across complex building projects. The technology combines disparate site data into a live digital model, giving project teams a clearer view of site progress.
Roy Danon, Co-founder and CEO of Buildots, explained the reasoning behind the new approach. “For centuries, construction has operated based on subjective reports and fragmented data where everything looks fine until suddenly it isn’t,” he said. “We’ve built Buildots to end that era by providing the operational backbone the industry has lacked. Our platform turns real-world site data into the decisive intelligence that lets leaders know sooner, act faster, and outperform. As the only true construction intelligence platform on the market, Buildots represents the future of how this industry will operate.”
The system relies on three core operational steps to handle site information. It first verifies completed work visually against original timelines to confirm true progress. Next, it uses predictive data and root cause analysis to highlight risks before they escalate. Finally, the software applies historical project data and automated workflows to keep schedules on track.
Tal Morgenstern, Partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners, noted the technical scope of the system. “Buildots is effectively building the foundational AI model for construction,” he said. “By creating a unified data layer that turns chaotic site reality into structured, actionable intelligence, the team unlocks a level of operational efficiency that was previously viewed as impossible to achieve in this industry.”
The launch comes alongside a visual rebrand as Buildots expands its presence among major global partners. Major contractors and developers, including Turner Construction, JE Dunn, Digital Realty, Intel, and Bouygues, have deployed the system.
The platform has been used across multiple sectors, including commercial builds, data centres, healthcare facilities, and semiconductor factories. Results from these deployments show the software can reduce project delays by up to 50 per cent, saving an average of two to three months per project.
Lisa Cohen, Investment Director at Intel Capital, commented on the company’s trajectory. “We’ve seen Buildots transform from a progress tracking solution into an intelligence platform,” she said. “Yet even this transformation only scratches the surface of the level of ambition Buildots has to systemically transform the global construction industry. We’re excited to be part of the journey.”
