Hilton (NYSE: HLT) has announced the opening of York Medellin, Curio Collection by Hilton, marking the debut of the lifestyle brand in Colombia’s second-largest city. The opening establishes the hotel as the 27th Hilton property in Colombia and the third Curio Collection hotel in the country, following those in Cartagena and Bogota. Hilton anticipates strong growth for its lifestyle brands across the Caribbean and Latin America, where the company expects to add nearly 40 properties to its existing portfolio of nearly 40 open hotels.

York Medellin blends modern architecture with a sophisticated façade that complements the urban setting of the El Poblado neighbourhood. The interior spaces are airy and elegant, finished with warm wood tones. The avant-garde lobby features curated local art and abundant natural light. The hotel offers 111 stylish suites, each designed with elevated furnishings, separate living areas, and fully equipped kitchens. Suites range from 33 to 56 square metres. Select suites incorporate cutting-edge technology such as smart home assistants and voice-controlled settings. It is also one of the city’s few pet-friendly upscale hotels.

Guests can relax at the rooftop oasis located on the 23rd floor, which includes an infinity pool and provides stunning panoramic city views. The hotel’s culinary offering includes Nomade Restaurant, its signature dining outlet. Nomade serves a fusion of local and international flavours with a distinctive Peruvian influence. The Ze View Rooftop Bar on the 23rd floor offers handcrafted cocktails, curated wines, and premium spirits alongside 360-degree views of Medellín. Guests also receive a complimentary breakfast buffet.

The Henko Spa offers a serene urban sanctuary with rejuvenating treatments on the 22nd floor, which also hosts a state-of-the-art fitness centre. For business or events, York Medellin provides modern meeting rooms and open-air terraces capable of accommodating up to 100 guests. Coworking spaces and tailored business services are also available.

Situated in the exclusive El Poblado district, York Medellin provides easy access to key city attractions. These include the Medellín Chamber of Commerce, Club Campestre, and EAFIT University. Premier shopping centres such as Oviedo and Santafé are minutes away, as are leisure spots like Parque Lleras.
