DroneDeploy has announced the general availability of Ground Pro, an advanced 3D reality capture layer within its DroneDeploy Ground platform. Following Procore’s acquisition of DroneDeploy, the software enables field teams to turn mobile device and 360-camera captures into measurable 3D site records. Ground Pro introduces features including Interior Maps, Mobile 3D Scanning and 3D Measure & Navigation to improve jobsite documentation and workflow planning.
CapitaLand Investment and Ally Logistic Property have broken ground on OMEGA 1 Singapore, a S$260 million logistics development situated in Gul Lane. Set for completion in the second half of 2028, the facility integrates physical real estate with automated systems and artificial intelligence. Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI) has partnered with SoftBank Group to form a new joint venture aiming to scale autonomous construction equipment for major infrastructure developments. Supported by SoftBank's financial backing alongside a separate $225 million direct investment, the venture will accelerate the commercialisation of hardware and software solutions that allow mixed fleets of heavy machinery from various manufacturers to operate autonomously across complex job sites.
Dubai-based master developer Meraas has awarded GCC Contracting an AED 1 billion build contract for Phase 7 of Nad Al Sheba Gardens. The expansion will deliver 272 homes, including 130 luxury villas and 142 townhouses, alongside complete infrastructure works. Located ten minutes from Downtown Dubai, the project has already started construction on site and is expected to reach completion during the second quarter of 2028.
Vingroup has broken ground on the Vinmec Can Gio International General Hospital within the Vinhomes Green Paradise coastal township in Ho Chi Minh City. Developed alongside Cleveland Clinic, the 7.4-hectare multi-speciality facility will feature 500 beds and accommodate around 500,000 outpatient visits annually. Scheduled to open in December 2027, the hospital combines specialised medical care, longevity research and luxury rehabilitation aimed at regional medical tourism.
Minor Hotels has signed two agreements with Paraguayan real estate company Grupo Petra in Madrid to expand its footprint in South America. The partnership includes a management contract for a four-star, 116-room NH Hotel in Asunción, scheduled to open in late 2029, alongside a strategic framework to explore further developments across Paraguay under the NH, NH Collection and Tivoli hotel brands.
