SURJ Sports Investment, a company owned by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, has launched a new joint venture called radia alongside Live Nation and Oak View Group. The initiative will manage, operate and commercialise multi-use sports and entertainment venues across the country. It aims to support Saudi Arabia’s growing sports sector, which is projected to exceed $22 billion in value by 2030.
Hilton has confirmed a three-year extension of its partnership with day-access platform ResortPass across the Americas. Minor Hotels has launched reservations for Anantara Tented Camp Kafue River, its first tented safari property in Zambia. Situated in Kafue National Park, the eco-friendly 13-key resort features structures elevated on timber platforms to protect local wildlife corridors. Manchester United has announced the location for its proposed 100,000-seater stadium, situated 350 metres from Old Trafford. The venue forms the centrepiece of the Trafford Wharfside masterplan, a 150-hectare regeneration project backed by Trafford Council and regional authorities. The project aims to create 48,000 jobs and 15,000 homes, delivering a projected £7.3 billion annual boost to the UK economy.
The Snøhetta-designed Shanghai Grand Opera House will officially open on October 17, 2026. Currently entering its final development phase, the venue has scheduled 82 performances across 47 productions for its inaugural season, which runs until February 20, 2027. The project features three specialist auditoriums and an accessible public roofscape.
