Ajdan Real Estate Development Company has introduced “Khobar Pier,” a major waterfront project on the Arabian Gulf backed by SAR 5.6 billion in investments.
The debut happened during the official launch event for Ashraq Development Company, which serves as the development arm of the Eastern Province Municipal Authority. The ceremony was held under the patronage of HRH Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of the Eastern Province, with public and private sector leaders in attendance.
Collaboration drives the venture through a partnership involving Ajdan Real Estate Development, Ashraq Development, the Tourism Development Fund, and Aljazira Capital. The project layout covers 671,000 square metres of land, incorporating a developed area of about 305,000 square metres and an 850-metre waterfront. Plans include 689 residential units, 690 hotel rooms, and 33,000 square metres of commercial space.
Water features prominently in the design, with interconnected waterways leading to a central island and an elevated hill that provide panoramic Gulf views, green spaces, and walkways. The scheme brings together international hotels, branded resorts, luxury villas, eateries, and recreational zones.
Ajdan’s broader portfolio features developments such as Ajdan Waterfront, the Fairmont Ajdan hotel in Khobar, the INFINITI project, and forthcoming sites like “Bayfront” and “Nabdh Alkhobar.” Other nationwide assets include “Ajdan Island” in Khobar, “Arts Destination” and “Ajdan Towers” in Riyadh, alongside “Grand Square” and a site inside King Salman Park in Jeddah.
This approach demonstrates Ajdan’s dedication to creating integrated destinations that extend beyond conventional real estate projects. By blending top-tier design with hospitality, entertainment, dining, and retail, the company helps enrich the Kingdom’s urban and tourism landscape, in line with Saudi Vision 2030’s objectives of developing distinctive destinations, enhancing quality of life, and diversifying the economy.
