Global investment firm Sixth Street has announced a co-operative agreement with Lloyds to deliver funding solutions for the UK commercial real estate market.

Under the arrangement, the firm will deploy its global Asset Based Finance (ABF) platform to supply UK property borrowers with scaled capital. The agreement aims to generate high-quality lending avenues while adhering to strict underwriting criteria.

The London-based ABF division at Sixth Street will work alongside its global real estate team. This combined group brings operational, acquisition, and underwriting experience to offer structured financing across the property market.

By utilising its international platform, Sixth Street intends to provide flexible financial products tailored to UK borrowers. The firm’s ABF platform targets asset and platform origination across specialised credit markets. It relies on structuring capability, operational systems, and risk management practices to execute transactions and manage risk-adjusted returns.
