Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel has set a Guinness World Record for creating the world’s longest mango sticky rice. Measuring 101.15 metres, the record-breaking Thai creation was prepared during the World Gourmet Festival 2026.
The record attempt brought together a team of Michelin-recognised guest chefs and the hotel’s in-house culinary staff. Visiting talent included Chef Georgiana Viou of L’Ami, Cotonou; Chef Heros De Agostinis of INEO, Rome; Chef Josiah Citrin of Mélisse & Citrin, California; Chef Arnaud Dunand of Maison Dunand, Bangkok; Chef Paul Gamauf of EDVARD, Vienna; Chef Supakarn “Hong” Lienpanich of Dara Cuisine Phuket; and Chef Cho Eunjung of Honeybee Seoul.
The internal team at Anantara Siam Bangkok was led by Executive Chef Justin Paul Baziuk, alongside Chef Giuseppe Bonura of Biscotti, Chef Marco Chavez of Madison, Chef Axel Javier Correa Mancera of Guilty Bangkok, and Executive Thai Chef Akkawin Pitrachart of Spice Market.
Once the official measurement was confirmed, the food was handed over to Scholars of Sustenance Thailand (SOS Thailand). The surplus food rescue organisation distributed the dessert to local communities across Bangkok.
“We are incredibly proud to have achieved this remarkable milestone, which celebrates the richness of Thai culinary heritage and the extraordinary talent and teamwork of our colleagues and chefs from around the world,” said Torsten Richter, General Manager of Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel. “At Anantara Siam Bangkok, we believe that food has the power to bring people together and create meaningful connections. By sharing our Guinness World record-breaking mango sticky rice with Scholars of Sustenance Thailand, we are delighted that this celebration can extend beyond the festival and bring a little more goodness to the wider community.”
